Day 2 of filming.
On our second day of filming we decided to film establishing shots. We located the filming inside of school as we are then able to incorporate an establishing shot, this is shown through a mid shot which zooms forward showing the school sign "Rainham School For Girls". By filming this specific sign it enables an establishing shot in which is representing where the scene is being shot but also the target audience shall be able to link the film to real life in a variety of ways. My group decided on filming a scene of both girls walking through the school gates in which would establish how they are school girls that late for school, this links in well with their stereotype character as it shows they are naughty and are not bothered. When filming we chose to incorporate a match on action shot in which showed the girls walking and talking from behind and then in-front, we found this camera angle very frustrating as we had to make sure that the actors were walking the same side as before and that each movement they made were shown identical form both behind and the front shot. When including this footage within our film trailer it helps represent the "Popular Girls", you are able to stereotype these girls from the way they are dressed such as fashionable clothes, male-up and hair. When using this shot you are able to see that they still go to school in which shall link in well with the target audience, this is from how they may feel like they want to be the girls and also they may use the catch phrases that the girls say throughout the film in real life circumstances.
