Filming

This week my group has began to start filming. We have filmed three scenes which will link together, this is as we were able to film scene which show the popular girl transforming the new girl so that she will fit into the popular girls group, this is shown with the popular girl straightening the new girls hair. We also filmed a scene of which is showing the new girl becoming a psycho, you are able to recognise this through the way the new girl strokes the popular girls face, looking at her phone but also the stare she shows when looking out the window when another friend arrived. 

I found filming each scene was challenging as we had to make sure we captured realistic moments with the right lighting and continuity so that when re-filmed both actor and prop was placed in the same way. When filming we also had to make sure that we were able to capture a variety of shots i which would show emotions and facial expression clearly and successfully, when filming the scene of transforming the new girl we incorporated a mirror in which represented it was a teenaged girls bedroom but also that she was always presented nicely through her make-up, hair and perfume smelling, when filming this scene i was filming so i had to set the camera in a specific areas in which would capture both actors in a clear image way so that you are able to establish what is happening but i also had to make  sure that i was not captured in the filming either this would of been shown from the reflection in the mirror. When finding the best placement for the camera and angle we were then successfully at filming the scene and using a various amount of camera angles in which would show the movement throughout the  scene very clearly.

I feel that we did capture a great use of footage but we could of experimented further by using more shots and incorporated a stronger use of footage but we also could of prepared the scene chosen to film a lot better so that we would be definite on what was happening. Over all i feel we have captured a great first set of filming ready to include within our film trailer.
