Putting our animatic together.

When creating our animatic we had to draw out each of our scenes on a piece of paper and then film over it with a flip camera. With this we filmed the drawn out sketch for the amount of seconds in which we would show each scene throughout our film trailer. To produce and create our film anamatic we then opened up final cut express in which i was then able to link each clip together and add in film title of which would include, film titles of sentences we would have written over the screen and at the end our actual film title and the billing block.
I found working with Final cut express easy as i have used this tool before. When creating our final animatic i then added in dissolve cuts which linked the animatic together more subtle and effective. When making our film animatic i was able to cut out any sound in which was spoken when filming which was not necersary yet we found it hard in making the final music for our film as we could not link together or find a piece of music to make which would link with our thriller film genre so within the next few weeks we shall hopefully be all filmed and created our final piece of music to link in with our film.
Our opening film trailer should be around two minutes. Even though our drawing is not the best i feel that the animatic of which we have created shows the narrative of our film trailer and represents in a variety of ways what we shall include in each scene.
